Fireworks – July 2010

I’m off to an early start this holiday. I will go to Independence Day fireworks whenever I can. There are a number of towns which have displays before the actual day, which is to my advantage. Unfortunately, due to the current economy, many towns have cut back on the length of their displays, or canceled them all together. I am sincerely thankful for every burst that illuminates the night sky! Below is a sneak peek.

  1. Great captures! I can almost smell the gunpowder.

My first attempt at fireworks photography was disappointing but with practice comes success. With each failure I am one step closer to getting it. Tonight, in New Brunswick, I’ll have another chance at fireworks photography.

East Brunswick will celebrate Independence Day and the township’s 150th anniversary on Sunday, July 4, at the Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, from 5-10:30 p.m. There will be rides, games and children’s activities, along with a concert by the Nerds at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. For more information, call 1-732-390-4044.
